Earlier this year I shared that we had partnered with USAID to donate drones to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine (OPG).

I visited Ukraine again last week and was honored to meet with Andriy Kostin, Prosecutor General of Ukraine. General Kostin shared that Skydio drones have been instrumental in:

• gathering evidence from 80+ shelling sites and 100+ damaged civilian structures across Ukraine

• enhancing OPG investigations by enabling safe access to hard-to-reach areas and building 3D models of war crime scenes

The use of drone technology to document and gather evidence — at speed and scale — in a war crimes prosecution is unprecedented and a testament to the awe-inspiring drone innovation of the Ukrainians in the face of immense challenges.

On behalf of everyone at Skydio, we couldn’t agree more with General Kostin when he says, “...we hope not only to solidify but also to grow and expand our partnership in the years to come.”

Since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion, Skydio drones have been instrumental in gathering evidence from over 80 shelling sites and more than 100 damaged civilian structures across Ukraine.
